Head:

  1. Start with the flesh-tone yarn and make 6 single crochets in a magic circle.

  3. Continue crocheting in rounds, increasing in every other stitch until you have 36 stitches.
  4. Crochet 6 rounds without increasing.
  5. Decrease in every other stitch until you have 18 stitches.
  6. Stuff the head firmly and close the hole with a slip stitch.

Hair:

  1. Attach the black yarn to the top of the head and crochet a round of single crochets.
  2. Work rows of back-and-forth single crochets, turning your work at the end of each row.
  3. Increase or decrease stitches as needed to shape the hair. You can also tie the hair in sections to create braids or pigtails.

Face:

  1. Embroider the eyebrows and mouth with black embroidery floss.
  2. Attach the 9mm safety eyes.

Body:

  1. With green yarn, make 6 single crochets in a magic circle.
  2. Increase in each stitch around (12 stitches).
  3. Continue crocheting in rounds, increasing in every other stitch until you have 36 stitches.
  4. Crochet 6 rounds without increasing.
  5. Decrease in every other stitch until you have 18 stitches.
  6. Continue decreasing until you have 6 stitches, and close the hole with a slip stitch.

Arms:

  1. Make two identical flesh-tone arms by crocheting a chain of 8 stitches, single crocheting in each stitch, turning your work, and crocheting back across. Repeat this until the arm is the desired length. Stuff the arm lightly and close the hole with a slip stitch.
  2. Sew the arms to the body.

Legs:

  1. Make two identical green legs by crocheting a chain of 12 stitches, single crocheting in each stitch, turning your work, and single crocheting back across. Repeat this until the leg is the desired length. Stuff the leg firmly and close the hole with a slip stitch.
  2. Sew the legs to the body.

Boots:

  1. With black yarn, make 6 single crochets in a magic circle.
  2. Increase in each stitch around (12 stitches).
  3. Crochet 2 rounds without increasing.
  4. Decrease in every other stitch until you have 6 stitches, and close the hole with a slip stitch.
  5. Repeat steps 1-4 to make the second boot.
  6. Sew the boots to the legs.

Belt:

  1. With brown yarn, chain 18 stitches.
  2. Single crochet in each stitch across.
  3. Tie the ends of the chain together to form a belt.
  4. Thread the gold yarn through the belt to create a buckle.

Accessories:

  1. You can add other accessories to your Gamora amigurumi, such as fingerless gloves, a sword, or a gun.

Tips:

  • Be sure to change colors at the end of each round to avoid carrying yarn up the side of your work.
  • Stuff the amigurumi firmly as you go to prevent it from being floppy.
  • Use a tapestry needle to weave in all loose ends.

You should be able to crochet your adorable Gamora amigurumi with a little practice!
