Step by step Pattern

Legs and Boots:

  • Change color to black.
  • Rd 15: 1 rd sc into back loop only (blo) = 12 st
  • Rd 16: 1 rd sc (black) = 12 st
  • Repeat rounds 13-16 another two times (3 black and 3 white stripes).
  • Change color to white.
  • Rd 25: 1 rd sc into blo = 12 st
  • Rd 26: (2 sc, inc)*4 = 16 st
  • Rd 27: 1 rd sc = 16 st
  • Leg 1: Continue crocheting another 6 sc in the round, until you reach the back of the boot. Cut yarn and finish off.
  • Leg 2: Crochet another 10 sc in the round, until you reach the "crotch". Add another 4 chains to connect the legs, but do not finish off.

Body:

  • Adjust the legs to the right position (toes pointing slightly out), and connect leg 2 to leg 1 by crocheting sc around leg 1. Continue in the round by crocheting a sc into each of the 4 chains between the legs, then 16 sc around leg 2 (40 stitches in total).

Neck:

  • Yarn off and weave the yarn end through all front loops of your last round (6 st). Pull tight to close the gap, and weave in the yarn end. Push the formed neck inside the doll's body (use a pincer or the handle of your hook).

Head & Face:

  • Follow the chart in skintone:
    • Rd 1: Magic Ring (MR), 6 sc into the ring = 6 st
    • Rd 2: inc*6 = 12 st
    • Rd 3: (1 sc, inc)*6 = 18 st
    • Continue increasing in this pattern until:
      • Rd 8: (6 sc, inc)*6 = 48 st
    • Rd 9-20: 12 rds sc = 48 st
    • Rd 21: (6 sc, dec)*6 = 42 st. Do NOT yarn off yet.

Arms (x2):

  • In skintone, start with a Magic Ring.
    • Rd 1: MR, 5 sc into the ring = 5 st
    • Rd 2: inc*5 = 10 st
    • Continue per the pattern until you've completed Rd 7-28: 22 rds sc = 8 st. Leave a long tail for attachment.

Hair:

  • In black:
    • Follow the pattern starting with a Magic Ring and increase until the base is formed.
    • Continue with rounds of sc to create the length (Rd 9-17: 9 rds sc = 50 st). Do not yarn off.

Accessories:

  • Cap: In pink, follow the given instructions for horns in red.
  • Horns (x2): In red, follow the pattern from Rd 1: MR, 6 sc into the ring, to the final Rd 6 with 16 st. Leave a long tail for attaching the horn to the cap.
  • Skirt: In red, crochet dc stitches all around the body at the specified round, increase as instructed to finish the skirt.

Assembly:

  • Now assemble body, neck, and head, and sew the parts together well as recommended. Attach the arms 2 rounds underneath the neck on both sides.
  • Arrange the hair and use the yarn ends to attach it to the head.
  • Position the horns correctly on the cap and attach them with a few stitches.
  • Depending on your preference, attach the hat to the head or leave it loose.

Congratulations! You have successfully completed your Dolores the Daredevil amigurumi doll.
